Terry Bates - Manager

Terry has had vast experience in the field of engineering, starting out as a fitter and machinist to being company manager since 1974. As a design engineer, Terry has had experience in a vast array of areas including the design of cranes, conveyor system, and speciality lifting equipment. The variety of work we have completed over the years is testament to Terry’s confidence in his team to solve any engineering problem. "There is nothing we cannot do"

Carol Britton - Senior Engineer

Carol joined the company in 1996 after graduating with a Bachelor of Engineering with honours from Swinburne University. Since joining the company, she has been involved in the majority of the major projects completed by T & S Bates, which include the design of overhead cranes and specialty machines. A selection of the projects completed has been included here. Carol is also a member of the Institution of Engineers Australia.

Alan Bowmaker - Project Manager

Alan has been with the company since 1999, and has brought to the company many years of project management experience in the design and construction industry. Alan's responsibilities also include checking all our drawings in accordance with our companies quality accredited procedures. Alan holds certificates in both Mechanical and Structural Engineering, and his many years spent as a detailed design drafter are a main contributing factor to the high quality of the drawings produced by T & S Bates.
